ABOUT

What about the name "Water for the Soul"?
Many people ask how "Water for the Soul" got its name.
To me, it is a metaphor for massage.
Simply put, the body can go many days without food,
but can't go without water
and I feel the same way about massage.
It nourishes the physical, the mental , the emotional
and the spiritual aspects of our "soul"
When our bodies feel relief,
our emotions improve, our attitudes change
and we are more at peace.
What could be better?

A "little" About the History of "Water for the Soul"
Water for the Soul moved to 640 W. Schrock Rd in the Parkview Center in Westerville near the corners of Cleveland Ave and Schrock Rd in 2009.
We are next to Rinkov Optical and
across the street from The Raisin Rack.
The location is convenient to routes 270 and 71.

In March of 2000, Laura Palovich-Binder, LMT first opened the doors of Water for the Soul massage therapy at 6050 Huntley Road in the Huntley Square Plaza and was there for six years.
The office was moved in April of 2006 to 705 Lakeview Plaza Blvd. Ste C in Worthington, but moved to Westerville in 2009.

Here's a little bit about Linda...

I grew up in Athens County Ohio. Where there is a lot of 'Earthy People.' It is a community where there has always been an interest in preserving and being good care takers of the earth.
Holistic Healing has always been a fascination for me. I moved to Huntington WV and raised my family there until 2006. In Huntington I had a thriving Massage Business which was known as 'Essential Touch Therapeutic Massage.' There I Incorporated Essential Oils in my practice of Massage. Essential Oils as some of you may know, is an ancient art in using Aroma Therapy and the oils for naturally healing the body. Thus, Raindrop Therapy is one of the popular modalities I incorporate.

Changes in the 'Universe', prompted me to come back to Ohio
Graduated from Mountain State School of Massage in Charleston WV. 2005. Graduated from Collins Career Center, Ironton Ohio, Massage Therapy program. Licensed in the State of West Virginia, Ohio and Nationally Certified.
I am looking forward to bringing my knowledge and techniques to the Westerville Area in helping to reduce stress to our community.
